MotionX Tryouts: July 27

MotionX will hold a second tryout for 12u and 14u teams on July 27 in Madison, MS at Liberty Park. We also have several requests for individual workouts and we are working to complete these on Thursday night, July 18 at 6:15pm and Sunday, July 21 at 2pm. Do you want to be a part of one of Mississippi's oldest softball organizations? Motion Softball was established in 1997 and since that time we have grown year after year. We have a reputation for providing high quality players to colleges across the southeastern US and beyond.

Mississippi Motion will be forming two new teams for the fall 20019 summer 2020 seasons.

MotionX 12u and 14u will be coached by a staff of coaches with a vast variety of experience and knowledge. These two teams will be coached jointly by the following coaches:

Kaitlyn Perry - Played at Pearl River CC and William Carey University. She then went on to coach at Madison Central HS and most recently has been an assistant coach at William Carey University for the past three years.

Caitlyn Castille - Played high school ball at Winona HS and Winona Christian Academy. She went on to be a 4 year starter behind the plate at William Carey University.

Rogerick Thompson - Rogerick is a certified hitting instructor, is a two time ABCA (American Baseball Coaches Assn.) conference attendee, one time attendee to NFCA (National Fastpitch Coaches Assn.), two time PitcherPalooza attendee, and has coached with the Motion organization for the past 4 years. He also was also a featured speaker/instructor at the 2018 Mississippi Assn. of Coaches Clinic.

Bailey Stokes - Bailey played high school softball at Madison Central HS. Bailey attended Jones County Junior College for a year and went on to finish her career at the University of Southern Mississippi. She is now an assistant coach at Madison Central HS.

Mike Odom - Has coached within the Motion organization for the past 12 years. Coached Motion 97 from 8u through 18u and currently serves at the executive director for the organization.

MotionX will hold tryoutson July 27 at Liberty Park in Madison, MS (field TBD) from 2pm-5pm.
