MOTION FUTURES
MRYSC is pleased to offer Motion Futures, a year-round program designed for our recreational players seeking additional training and competition. Players accepted into our program will train as a team and compete in local tournaments* while continuing to play in our local recreational league with their friends.
The purpose of the Motion Futures program is to provide opportunities that advance the softball skills of our participants. With the coaching from trained coaches, players will develop their foundational skills at an accelerated pace, allowing them to successfully compete at higher levels of play. The program offers a bridge to the competitive worlds of travel and school softball.
PLAYER EVALUATIONS for our 2026 Spring Program will be held in February (Date TBD) (you will receive an email with details)
Ages: Motion Futures is available for players age 5-10
Eligibility: Motion Futures players must be registered participants for our spring recreational season.
Coaching: Motion Futures teams will practice weekly with trained coaches. The Motion Futures practice and game schedule will not interfere with the recreational game schedule. Tournaments will be coached by parent coaches.
Teams: Motion Futures teams will compete within 6U, 8u, 10u divisions. We will form teams by birth year where possible.
Practices will be on Saturdays. Schedule will be provided once teams are formed.
Cost: $380 for the 2026 Spring season. This is "all in" pricing and includes the cost of the Motion Futures program, jerseys, insurance, equipment and all tournaments and/or scrimmages. Monthly payment plans are available.
*Local is typically within a 2 hour distance from Madison. If tournaments are not available we will play scrimmage games with other local tournament teams.

MOTION SOFTBALL teams are the tournament teams associated with MRYSC Softball. There are 8U - 18U Motion Teams.
